Our Founding Story

marnieg1

Born and raised in Chicago by a firefighter and a nurse, Lindsay Gambit, became a resident of Henderson, Nevada back in the summer of 2001. While raising her 3-year-old daughter, she finished the first of her two bachelor’s degrees at UNLV in Political Science, law school goals in sight.  Life’s journey took Lindsay down another path, though, with the birth of her beautiful second child. This little blessing, however, came with a challenge of perseverance as Lindsay’s son was born with gastroschisis resulting in him spending the first month of his life in the pediatric ICU and positioning him for many gastro-intestinal challenges throughout his young life. Four weeks of watching the difference these pediatric ICU nurses made in the lives of the parents and tiny patients, an epiphany awoke in Lindsay.

Therefore, in line with her desire to change the lives of those she met, Lindsay pursued her second bachelor’s degree in nursing at Nevada State College graduating with honors in 2009 and will soon begin her Doctorate of Nurse Practioner degree at The University of Nevada, Reno.  As a nurse in the valley for over twelve years, Lindsay worked in a multitude of facets within her field - a medical surgical floor nurse, an acute care charge nurse, a palliative nurse specialist, a hospice nurse, a pharmaceutical nurse educator, a chemotherapy and infusion certified nurse and now the founder and business owner of multiple Nevada infusion clinics for the past four years.  In addition, Lindsay acquired board certifications in hospice and palliative care as well as becoming an Infusion Nursing Specialist.

Because of the invaluable experience gained through her many years of nursing, Lindsay acquired a deep appreciation of the patient experience which guided the creation of Infusion Care with Vegas Valley Infusion Care in Las Vegas and Northern Nevada Infusion Care in Reno.  Lindsay has an emotionally vested interest in her infusion centers and over the next few years intends to have several more throughout the West Coast to further impact the lives of those suffering from chronic disease states.

Throughout her life, Lindsay has achieved numerous accolades such as Valedictorian, Dean’s List, State Scholar, Co-author of Tracheostomy Care for Special Needs in the Clark County School District, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year, President’s Club, Nevada Legislative Key Note Speaker, Crohns and Colitis Nevada Chapter Board Member, the 2023 Courage Ball Healthcare Partner of the Year recipient, Village of Becoming Board Member, and most important of all, mother to three soulful, compassionate children, Scarlett, Caeden and Grant, and two grandchildren, Elena and Dawson.
