What is a Chemical Peel and how does it work?

A chemical peel is a skin treatment that removes the top layer of dead skin cells so new, healthier skin can come through. It works by applying a solution that causes the skin to gently peel over time. As this happens, your skin naturally repairs itself by producing more collagen (the protein that keeps skin firm and smooth). This process helps improve the overall look, texture, and tone of your skin.
